What is your cancellation policy?

Life happens. We get that. Reservations are fully refundable up to 5 days prior to check-in. The total price of the reservation will be charged right away after that point. Your card will be charged the full amount of your stay 4 days prior to check in.  Rarely can we make any exceptions to this.

What is your smoking policy?

Breathe easy. The Yorkshire Unicorn is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a £100 room cleaning fee.

Do you welcome children?

The Yorkshire Unicorn is family-friendly and welcomes guests with children of all ages, however room occupancy is limited. Please note that we do not provide cribs, so families would need to bring their own. We offer two bedrooms that are equipped with sofa beds, making them suitable for a family of three with an older child.

How Accessible are your rooms?

Please note, The Yorkshire Unicorn is an old property and the bedrooms are situated on upper floors so only accessible by stairs. Unfortunately this means we are not fully accessible for wheelchair users. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

What is the closest airport?

Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is 16 miles away. This is a 40 minute drive from The Yorkshire Unicorn.

Are you close to public transport locations?

We are just across the road from Skipton Bus Station and a taxi rank. We are also around a 5-10 minute walk away from the train station, linking us with Leeds, Manchester and Bradford.

Is there wi-fi?

We offer complementary Wi-Fi to all of our guests. Details to log-in are in your room.

What is the pet policy?

We allow dogs to stay at The Yorkshire Unicorn. This must be booked before your stay. Not all rooms are dog friendly. We have 4 dog friendly rooms! Additional charge of £25 stay per dog*. We ask that dogs are not left in the room unattended, so we ask if you are bringing a dog to make sure you book a dog friendly pub for dinner.

Is there parking?

Unfortunately we don’t have on-site parking. There are town centre car parks on Coach Street (BD23 1LH) and Jerry Croft (BD23 1ED). We are also a short walk from the bus and train stations!

 

How do I check in?

The Yorkshire Unicorn is a self check-in property. You will receive an access code to enter the property in the days leading up to your stay and then an on the day reminder. You will then have access to a key box with your room card.
